Weeeeeee!!!

We went to Grannies house last night while daddy and Turner were at church to see Uncle Chuck (he was in town for business). Last time Maggie saw him was when she was born. She said she didn't remember, so it was good to see him again!! We had fun on the swing and slide while we were waiting for him to arrive.

Survivor

I survived last weekend without the hubby!! He went to a retreat Thursday through Sunday so I had the kiddos.....Kudos to all the single parents out there! God has a special place for you! We got a free meal from Granny and Papa Friday night. Maggie started screaming around 7:30 to remind me that it was her bedtime. We finally got home (a five minute car ride with a screaming baby feels like an hour, by the way) and started getting ready for bed. Why do children have 12 more questions with every answer you give them?? Then I let the dogs in......the dogs that were covered in mud, that is!!!! All this while still trying to console a screeming baby.....So the dogs were sent back outside, but not before they trampled all over the living room carpet, though. That's okay, I had planned on shampooing while Cliff was out of town (yeah, right!). I did get everyone save and sound in their little beds........I crashed! Saturday was much more pleasant...I felt like a power house...I did laundry...I cleaned all the floors...I actually took a shower....(thanks Maggie for letting mommy get all of this done).......oh, then we mooched a free meal off of my brother and sister-in-law. Thanks Lee----it was wonderful!!
We were so glad to see daddy Sunday night. Even Maggie seemed very pleased to have him home!! She has given daddy the cold shoulder since the day she was born, however was very content in his arms that night!
I get to go to the retreat this weekend! I am very excited....Cliff said that he is scared of Maggie.......I assured him that he will do fine (please God, let my babies survive this weekend!)
