We had a wonderful Easter weekend!! Me and the kids had an action-packed day with out good friends (Ken, Connie, Sydney, and Natalie) on Good Friday. Thought we would meet up at the zoo, but I think everyone in the state had the same idea. We ended up meeting at a nearby park. The kids had so much fun running and screaming! Connie and I were able to catch up on mommy and friend stuff. Then off we went to the Fire Museum. The kids had a blast crawling in and out of the trucks and listening to the talking horse. We ended the day with a trolley ride around the riverfront. It was an absolutely beautiful day to be out and about. This was Natalie (6 months) and Maggie's (3 months) first official play date! We think they had a good time.
Saturday was the church egg hunt......we kept Maggie at home out of the wind, but the boys had a good time.
Easter Sunday: the Easter bunny came to our house and left baskets of goodies for all of us....I would say to everyone (while we were getting ready for church) "Happy Easter, He has risen!" The boys would say it right back to me. While in the car I said it again, then asked "Who is He?" In sweet, loud voices, the boys sang back, "The Easter Bunny!!"..........so we trying to do a better job as parents to educate the kiddo's!!!
